It is important to have support documents for the established environments to facilitate an appropriate understanding by the support personnel who will be responsible for these environments after handover to operations. This will ensure that the transition staff responsible for executing knowledge transfer are sufficiently apprised of the technical details and support implications of the implemented solution in order to train all support staff.
The Engagement Manager (Transition) will make sure that the relevant support documents are prepared and placed in a common respository. The location of the repository must be shared with all the relevant stakeholders and required acccess must be provided as appropriate. |
