Task: Prepare Support Documentation
During steady state, it is essential to have support documentation handy for reference, to ensure the technical environment is available as desired. This documentation may also be required in case there is need for change to the technical environment. The purpose of this task is to create this Technology And Infrastructure Support Documentation.

 It is  important to have support documents for  the established environments to facilitate an appropriate understanding  by the support personnel who will be responsible for these environments after handover to operations. This will ensure that the transition staff responsible for executing knowledge transfer are sufficiently apprised of the technical details and support implications of the implemented solution in order to train all support staff.

 

The Engagement Manager (Transition) will make sure that the relevant support documents are prepared and placed in a common respository. The location of the repository must be shared with all the relevant stakeholders and required acccess must be provided as appropriate.
